Our Aftercare

We know that the days and weeks following the loss of a loved one can be challenging, but you do not have to face the journey through grief alone. Donna Mathiowetz is our compassionate, dedicated Aftercare Coordinator. We encourage you to seek out her valuable guidance along the way. Donna listens, suggests methods for coping, and provides helpful resources. In addition, she hosts several grief care gatherings and events throughout the year to offer those who are grieving a chance to talk about their journey, receive support, and feel less alone.

Aftercare Resource Guide and Everything After

This packet contains information regarding our Everything After program that includes important checklists and resources for personal and financial affairs as well as avenues of support as you grieve.

Continuing Grief Care Series

A more in-depth support can be found in this insightful four-book series written by Doug Manning. These are provided to those who have lost a spouse or child, but they are also available to any other type of loss by request.

Grief Care Group

This group offers an opportunity to connect with others grieving and provides a variety of presenters who share on several topics relating to the grief journey. We meet throughout the year; if you don’t see the current schedule on the homepage of the website, please reach out to us. Click here for our 2024 schedule.

Holiday Service of Remembrance

The holiday season can add to an already difficult time while grieving. For this reason, we host a special holiday service every year. A grief professional will share thoughts on being better equipped for the holidays, and there will be treats and beautiful music for you to enjoy. A personalized ornament will be presented in memory of your loved one.
