Adeline Penders

Adeline B. Penders, 82, formerly of Saint Paul Park, died Thursday morning, July 6, 2006 at the Augustana Home in Hastings following a lengthy illness.



Adeline B. Paul was born March 6, 1924 in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of Elmer and Fleeta (Scott) Paul. She was raised on a farm near Buffalo Lake and graduated from Hutchinson High School. She was united in marriage to Russel Anglin on September 27, 1942 in Hutchinson. The couple made their home in Minneapolis where Adeline worked for General Mills. Following her husbands death in January of 1956, she was married to Robert Penders, they later divorced. Adeline was employed as a home health aide for Washington County for many years, retiring in 1989. Adeline enjoyed driving and traveling. She was very social and attended many area events. She was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, Washington County Historical Society and a square dance club. She especially enjoyed her family and grandchildren.



Adeline is survived by her daughter, Delores Pankonin and her husband, Ron of Eagan, two grandchildren; Julie Trebesch and her husband, Tom, Ron Dornseif Jr. and his wife, Kim, four great-grandchildren; Cody Dornseif, Holly, Allison and Olivia Trebesch, two sisters; Eva Tews and Mildred Blake both of Hutchinson.



She was preceded in death by her husbands, son, James Anglin, daughter, Colleen Hostrawser, brother, Mervin Paul, sisters; Irene Paul and Evelyn Goemer.
