Allen "Al" Strong

Allen “Al or Phoonse” Strong,

Age 65, of Newport, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Al was a lifetime resident of Newport, Minnesota living in the home his family grew up in. He was an avid outdoorsman, photographer, collector of antiques and was a big animal lover as well.

He is survived by his son, Jason Rose; mother, Gloria Bickner; siblings, Roy Strong, Jeanie Murray, Misty Gilbertson; partner, Vicki Benson as well as many nieces and other loving family and friends.
