Alvin James Martin, age 83 of Cottage Grove, owner of A & F Auto, passed away November 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 at River of Life Church, 1329 S. Ramsey, Blue Earth, MN. Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park and also one hour prior to the service at church.
Alvin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; children Ruth Scott, Julianne (Julian Cordova) Scott, James Martin, Christine (LeRoy Taylor) Martin; granddaughter Victoria Scott; great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Jasmine, Carlos and Dominic and great-great-grandchild Alijah; one sister, five brothers and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Joseph Scott; parents Frank and Nellie Martin; brothers Francis Martin and Mark Blower; sisters Mary Reinke and Helen Freeman.
