Amelia Elowyn Berthe

Amelia Elowyn Berthe was born an angel on February 10th, 2026 at 8:36 PM to her loving parents, Andrew and Allison Berthe. She weighed 6.1 ounces and was 24 cm long. Amelia was beautiful in every way; from her long fingers and tiny toes, to her little ears and button nose.

Despite being born asleep, Amelia had a personality from the beginning and a strong love for breakfast foods, desserts and fruit. When her Mama would say she’s starting to feel good, Amelia would say “sike, mama.” Her Mommy and Daddy imagined she would be a little silly goose with a lot of love and personality to share. They couldn’t wait to watch her become best friends with her furry dog sister, Atlas, and to see the person she would become.

Amelia’s beautiful life was short-lived, but her parents know she is in a magnificent place, making friends and watching over them with her great grandpa (Roman Schoenherr) and great grandma (Bonnie Falls).

Amelia will forever be remembered and loved by her parents Andrew and Allison, her four grandparents, and six aunts and uncles.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM with gathering of family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 20, 2026 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake, White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Little Snowdrop

The world may never notice if a Snowdrop doesn't bloom

Or even pause to wonder if the petals fall too soon.

But every life that ever forms,

Or ever comes to be,

Touches the world in some small way

For all eternity.

The little one we longed for

Was swiftly here and gone.

But the love that was then planted

Is a light that still shines on.

And though our arms are empty,

Our hearts know what to do.
