Anna Bella (McCrory) Ennis

Anna Bella Ennis, née McCrory, age 88, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 11, 1936, in Belfast, Ireland, Ann carried with her the warmth, spirit, and resilience of her Irish heritage throughout her life.

In 1956, she married Gerald Ennis, and together they built a loving home filled with laughter, devotion, and a deep commitment to family.

Ann spent much of her career working alongside her husband at the family restaurant, Jerry’s Steak & Eggs in Cottage Grove, where her dedication and warmth left a lasting impression on both the community and the countless people she served.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Gerald Ennis; her beloved grandchildren, Chrystal (Ryan Trosvig) Mann and Troy (Angela) Mann; great grandchildren Bella, Braden, Mariella, Claire and Luna; her sister, Elizabeth (Graham) Russell; and her brother, Sam (Betty) McCrory. She was preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Elaine Mann and her siblings Robert "Bobby" McCrory, Ena Grant and Jimmy McCrory.

A Celebration of Ann’s Life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Carbone’s in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor her remarkable life. Lunch will be provided.

Ann’s life was a testament to family and love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were honored to know her.
