Arlene D. Rohr

Arlene D. Rohr, of Hastings, Minnesota passed away peacefully, at age 86, on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at White Pine Senior Living in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.

Arlene was born on January 16, 1939, in Hastings, Minnesota to Joseph and Anna (Lucking) Rech. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1957. She was blessed with 3 children and resided at her home for over 50 years.

Arlene took great pride in her home and traditions were very important to her. But her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. She poured her heart into their lives. She also enjoyed her long walks and close friends and family.

She was known for her fiery spirit. She was very bold and honest and not afraid to speak her mind. She had a very strong sense of loyalty, and worked hard at keeping her little family together no matter what.

She is survived by her children, Rigel Rohr, Kelsey Rohr (Sherrie), and Tanya Rohr; 6 grandchildren, Kristopher Rohr, Karina Short (Alex), Chase Durand, Dylan Rohr, Madigan Furlong, Carlie Furlong; and 2 great-grandchildren, Charlotte Short and Bennett Rohr.

Arrangements made by Kok Funeral Home, Cottage Grove, MN. Arlene requested that no formal service be held. Instead, the family will honor the life of Arlene privately. Thank you.
