Barbara Gott

Barbara “Zitso” Gott (nee Brown) age 58 of Cottage Grove on May 4, 2009 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.

Barbara Ann was born February 4, 19 51 in St. Paul , Minnesota the daughter of Adrain & Lorraine (Hansen) Brown. She was raised in St. Paul and graduated from St. Joseph ’s Academy in 1969. On December 17, 19 68 she was united in marriage to Richard Gott. Her passion was spending quality time with her husband, children and grandchildren, whom she adored. Barbara’s devotion to her family was simply unbelievable. She spent countless hours conversing, mentoring, giving advice, consoling, making meals, doing homework, nurturing, watching movies and staying up late with her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 40 years Richard “Gee”; daughter Terri Lynn; son Michael; mother Lorraine Brown; grandchildren Alex, Bre, Brandi, Nina, Jazzy, Bella; nephew Tim Brown; niece Tracy Sorlie; many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a multitude of life-long friends.

She was preceded in death by brother Terry; father A.T..

Memorial Mass 3:30 PM Saturday at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH , 261 8 ^th St. E. , St. Paul . Gathering Time 4-8 PM Friday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80 ^TH St. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875) and one hour prior to mass at church. Memorials preferred.
