Belita Scott

Belita M. Scott was born April 22nd 1925 to Nelson Nathaniel Pierce a Native American of the Leni-Lenape tribe of New Jersey and Dora Anna Cobb of Kingston Jamaica. “Big Billie” came from a large family of 22 brothers and sisters. Of her siblings she is survived only by her youngest sister “Peltz” Elsie Harriet. At the age of 22, Big married her husband Felius in 1947 at her mother in laws house in East Orange, New Jersey. She had six children, India, Walter, Belita, Angelo, Dino, and Antion. Big is survived by three of her children; India, Walter, and Antion; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.

Big passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Time of Remembrance will be 12 PM, with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park, MN, 55071.
