Bonnie Duffert

Bonnie A. Duffert, 70 of Cottage Grove passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2018 at her home. Bonnie was born on September 21, 1947 in St. Paul to Robert and Irene (Johnson) Anderson. She grew up near Maplewood and graduated from North St. Paul High School. Bonnie married Richard Duffert on December 4, 1964 and they were blessed with six children. She loved spending time fishing, gardening, going to the casino with the girls and spending time with her family. She was a proud Grandma and adored all of her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by loving husband of 54 years Richard; children, Ronda Thorson, Shane (Shawna), April (Thomas) Merten, Christie; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; mother, Irene Anderson; sister, Debi (Corky)Nelson; numerous other family and friends. Preceded in death by children, Brenda and Bobby; father Robert; brother Robby.

Funeral service, noon on Thursday, April 12 at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove) with a visitation starting at 10 AM.
