Brian Reed

Brian Reed, age 55 of St. Paul, passed away October 22, 2021.

A memorial service will be 11 am Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church, 6875 Jamaica Ave. S, Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will be at the Cottage Grove Cemetery.  In memory of Brian, the family asks that friends wear their favorite sports jersey to the service.  Brian's service will be available via livestream link below.

Brian Stanley Reed was born January 6, 1966 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Stanley and Ruby Reed.  In his younger years he loved going to the beach and frequenting the movie theatre with his brother, Marc.  He graduated from Park High School in 1984 and enjoyed staying active and enjoyed the adrenaline of ski jumping and riding motorcycle.  Brian attended St. Cloud State for a short time and also worked at Cub Foods.

Brian adored his family and was the proud uncle of to his beloved nieces and nephew and regularly called his mom.  He enjoyed being outdoors and going on walks.  He had a bit of an artsy side to him and enjoyed coloring and drawing.  On Sundays during football season you would always find him screaming at the TV while watching the Vikings, consuming copious amounts of coffee and sweets.

Brian is survived by his mother Ruby; beloved brother of James Reed, Jennifer (Nick) Reynolds, Bruce (Debby) Reed, Marcus (Paula); proud uncle to Sarah, Rachel, Austin, Alexandria, Alaina, Kate, Olivia, Morgan, Kenzie and Maecyn.  He is preceded in death by his loving father Stanley and both sets of grandparents Helen Bramstedt, James W. Reed, Chan Lin and Henry Lum.
