Bruce Zimmerman

Bruce Edward Zimmerman, 79, of Cottage Grove, was called home on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Zimmerman; his parents, Edward and Nona Zimmerman; his sister, Virginia "Sue" Zimmerman; his stepsons, Dale and Richard Sirek; and his grandson, Daniel Bettis.

He is survived by his son, Chris (Grace) Zimmerman; his daughter, Kari Zimmerman (fiancé, Greg Karan); his stepdaughters, Tami (Dale) McNamara, and Kelly Sirek; sister, Betty Bartholomew; brother-in-law, Rick Bartholomew; his "Best Bud" and grandson, Connor Darlow; his furry companion, Josie; as well as several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way.

Bruce was a God-fearing man and a longtime member of St. Andrews Church in St. Paul Park. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his faith, and the many memories shared with those who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. A special thank you to his grandson, Johnny Darlow, for all the love and support he showed him during his time of need.

Funeral Service 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, June 2, 2026 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1000 Portland Avenue Saint Paul Park, MN 55071. Burial to follow at Newport Cemetery, Newport, MN.
