Carl Scott Manke

Carl Scott Manke, age 68, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. 

Carl was born December 7, 1957, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in old Cottage Grove where he later met Vicky Reardon. They had Alisha (1993) and Tricia (1995). He owned his own landscaping and nursery while living in Newport, Minnesota. He moved to Lake Elmo in 2000 and started delivering car parts shortly after. In the early 2010’s, he started working as a millwright where he took great pride in his work. He retired in 2020. Carl enjoyed bee keeping, star gazing, fishing, camping, garden/botany, watching TV, reading, tinkering with electronic gadgets and watching space rocket launches. 

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carl E. and Norma Jean Manke; siblings, Tami Manke, Lori Keller, Paul Manke, and Alan Manke; and cousin, Michael Boeseneilers. He is survived by his two daughters, Alisha (Derek) and Tricia (Victor) Manke; grandson, Paxton Munkelwitz; sisters, Lynn Langefeld and Keri Johanson (Billy).
