Age 68, of Cottage Grove ,

passed away peacefully on August 2, 2009 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband Dick; her granddaughter Brooke Plemel; brothers Fr. Jack Wirth and Fr. Dick Wirth, and her parents Joe and Marie Wirth. Carol is survived by her children; Debbie (Larry) Plemel, Donny (Deedee) Nadeau, Karen (Denny Harnden) Nadeau, and Richelle (Josh) Robinson; grandchildren Andy, Brandon, Ricky, Joey, Jessica, Hailey, DJ, and Logan; sister Sm. Justin Wirth. Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80 ^TH St. S. Cottage Grove , MN 55016 (ph.651-459-2875) and also one hour prior to Mass at church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at ST. RITA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH LOCATED AT 8694 80 ^TH St. S. in Cottage Grove , MN 55016 . Private family burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery .
