Cassandra Nichole Colter Tucker

Cassy passed away on Saturday February 19, 2022.  She has left a hole in our hearts but many, many loving memories.

Cassy was born on Sunday October 4, 1981.  She studied International Business and Finance at Inver Hills College, attended Henry Sibley High School and Eagan High School, was a Sales Distributor at SeneGence, worked in insurance finance with Securian Financial Group and Hartford Financial Services, as a banker at Wells Fargo. Cassy loved her family and friends. She was an avid sports fan, a State Fair enthusiast, had a love for dancing and music.  She was our social butterfly.  Cassy was always known for being her own person and doing things “her way”.  But always considerate of others, making sure that they were okay.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents’: Barbara Willhite, Robert Willhite, John (Jack) and Sharon Colter. Auntie Ruth Willhite Greengo, Uncle Dick Steinman.

She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Tucker Jr., her son Leighton Michael Tucker, mother Roxanne Willhite Colter Shingledecker, stepdad Jeffrey J Shingledecker, father Craig R. Colter, siblings: Russell Colter, Toni Harvey (Tim), Teri Klein (Jeremy), Jodi Boelz, Jacob Shingledecker (Amy), Caleb Shingledecker (Jamie).  Thirteen nephews and nieces, (Jesse, Alicia, Travis, Steven, Sara, Ben, Connor, Carson, Carter, Malachi, Eli, Annabelle, and Iliana) Four great nephews (Brian Jr., Kane G., Leon, and Kane H.).  Many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 26th, at Oakwood Church (1388 Point Douglas Rd.; St. Paul, MN 55119).  Pastor David Sheppard will officiate, with luncheon to follow at the VFW Red Barn Cottage Grove Post NO. 8752 (9260 E Point Douglas Rd.; Cottage Grove, MN 55016). Interment will be in Fort Snelling Cemetery on a later date.

The family will receive friends Saturday February 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Church (1388 Point Douglas Rd.; St. Paul, MN 55119).
