Charlotte Lorraine Ewer Klapak

went to heaven on April 11, 2006.

She left us very peacefully at the home of her daughter and son-in- law, Francene & Dan Myhra, surrounded by her children and dear friend Angelina.



Preceded in death by husband Frank, son Warren, mother & father, 4 brothers, 1 sister. Survived by children and spouses: Judy & Cliff Harrington of Afton, Frank & Judy Klapak of Cottage Grove, Charlene & Denny Edmundson of Omaha, NE, Denille & Tom Colbert of Rice Lake, WI, Francene & Dan Myhra of Pine Springs, daughter-in-law Patricia Klapak of Roseville, 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, special friends Angelina & Blanche.



Born in Bruce, WI on March 3, 1917 to Ed & Minnie Ewer and lived on a farm homestead in Turtle Lake, WI. She was a founding member of St. Rita's parish in Cottage Grove. In her career, Charlotte was a dedicated, loyal employee of White Castle. In her later years, she enjoyed her friends at the Cottage Grove Senior Center and was 'Dolly' in the Senior Center chorus group.



She loved her family, music, flowers, dolls and spending time with her friends. She had a great sense of humor and was the matriarch of our family.



A special thanks to the Heartland Hospice team of doctors, nurses and clergy as well as Dr. Daschiell, and Father John Brandes.



Funeral Service 10 AM Thursday at ST. RITA?S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80th St. S. Cottage Grove. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove and 9-10 AM Thursday at church.
