Charlotte Ann Krueger

Charlotte Ann Krueger, age 93, of Cottage Grove and West St. Paul, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Aunt Chad was born in St. Paul and grew up on Rice Street. She graduated from Washington High School. She was a long-time resident of St. Paul's westside and lived on the bluffs for many years.

She was an original season ticket holder for the Vikings - since their first season in 1961. She attended each of the four Super Bowl games the Vikings played in and was heartbroken at each loss. There wasn't a Minnesota sport she didn't love.

Aunt Chad was a long-time member of the St. Paul Curling Club. She was a fierce competitor and traveled all over for Bonspiels. Curling was more than just a sport; it was always about the sportsmanship and the party. She also loved to downhill ski, traveling even as far as Austria for ski trips.

Aunt Chad was known as the family photographer, and she always coordinated the family reunions. She was really good at bringing everyone together and you could always count on Aunt Chad for a story. Whether it about the West Side, Prairie Farm, Rice Street, Aunt Belle's candy; Aunt Chad would share it all.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris; siblings, Mary Lou, Robert "Bud," Richard "Dick," Thomas "Tom," William, Helen Davis, and James "Jim;" and sister-in-law "Bennie."

She is survived by sister's-in-law Betty, and Shirley; and many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. Croix Hospice and The Sanctuary at West St. Paul for their love and support over the last two years. Thank you for treating her like family, we couldn't have done it without you.

A graveside service at Oakland Cemetery is pending at this time. Please check back for service details.
