Connie Marie Paulsen

Connie Marie Paulsen, age 53, of Eagan, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Connie entered the world alongside her twin sister, Cathie, as a cherished daughter to Paul and Shelia Paulsen.

Connie grew up in Cottage Grove, where she graduated from Park Senior High in 1990. She pursued her passion for numbers and precision at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1994. But her greatest joy was not found in ledgers or spreadsheets—it was in raising her beloved daughter, Melissa, in the welcoming community of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Connie’s spirit was as vibrant as the flower gardens she adored. She found peace in nature’s quiet wonders, especially the cascading beauty of waterfalls. Her love for live music, family picnics, and spontaneous laughter made every gathering brighter. She had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and cared for—her helpful heart and radiant smile were constants in the lives of those who knew her.

She was a devoted mother, a loving partner, a treasured sister, and a loyal friend. Her presence was a light that lifted others, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.

Connie is preceded in death by her father, Paul, and her brother, Jerry. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Eyrich; her life partner, Dennis Goedken; her mother, Shelia Paulsen; her twin sister, Cathie Paulsen; her sister-in-law, Laurie Paulsen; and her niece, Hann Paulsen.

Her memory will live on in every blooming garden, every song sung under the summer sky, and every moment of kindness shared in her honor.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Final resting place will be Cottage Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove, MN.
