Cynthia Jean Donlon

Cynthia Donlon, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Cynthia was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Gerald McKinzie and Janet Welsch January 13, 1956. Cynthia married John Donlon of Saint Paul, Minnesota on November 19, 1976, together they enjoyed almost 50 years of marriage.

Cynthia loved traveling, sewing, baking cookies, bowling, more traveling, and camping. She loved to go anywhere warm and enjoyed many cruises with her family, going as far as Alaska, New Zealand, and the Caribbean many times. She especially enjoyed the Panama Canal.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Craig McKinzie, and Jerry McKinzie.

She is survived by husband, John Donlon; children, John (Nicki) Donlon, Brian (Trisha) Donlon, Erin (Joe) Bell; grandchildren, Nathan and Jenna Donlon; father, Gerald (Carole) McKinzie; mother, Janet Welsch; siblings, Ken (Paula) McKinzie, Theresa (Bob) Williams, Keith (Karen) McKinzie, and Bobby (Alicia) Welsch; and many nieces, nephews, step-brothers and sisters, siblings-in-law, and other extended family.

The family would like to thank the community at Birchwood Senior Living for their excellent care over the last several months.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 1PM - 5PM at the Arthur O Haukland VFW Post 1350 in North Saint Paul.
