Preceded in death by wife Grace; brother Daniels; parents John & Ann. Beloved father of Michael (Mary), James (Pam), Anne, Mary Peper; grandpa of John (Katelynn), Jennifer, Jacob, Jake, Grant, Alexandra; great-grandpa of Hannah Grace. After graduating from Hankinson High School Dave served in the United States Army. He attended St. John’s University , University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law. Dave was an attorney with private practice offices in Cottage Grove and Newport . He is the former City Attorney of Cottage Grove. Dave was involved in may community organizations. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, writing and skiing. Dave was a private pilot, and a gun enthusiast who built the most beautiful furniture. His family was very important to him. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday at ST. RITA”S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80 ^th St. S. Cottage Grove . Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery . Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80 ^TH St. S. Cottage Grove and 9:30-10:30 Thurs. at church. Memorials to church.
