Diane Lynn Reeves, age 71, of Cottage Grove, MN passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in St. Paul, MN on September 1, 1954 to Donald and Dorothy Stalock. She graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1972 and then went on to work for US Bank until her retirement in 2009. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her family who she loved dearly. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother and grandmother, a loving sister, aunt, and friend.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Johnny Reeves Jr; her children, Michael Larson; Daniel Larson; and Kelly Reeves (Hannah); her grandchildren, Raeanne Balmer (Patrick); and Madison Larson (Tyler); her great-granddaughter, Adaline Balmer; her sister, Donna Bolles (Tom); sisters-in-law, Jenny (Reeves) Woods, Christina Reeves, Angela Deckard (Rick), and LuAnne Reeves; brother-in-law, Thomas Luchsinger; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Donald Stalock; mother, Dorothy (Plisek) Stalock; father-in-law, John Reeves; mother-in-law, Patricia (Garrett) Reeves; sister-in-law, Candace (Reeves) Luchsinger; grandmother, Helen (Wilebski) Hope; cousin, Sharon Moren; and great-niece, Avery Evans.
Diane's life reflected kindness, compassion, and remarkable strength. Her generous spirit, sense of humor, and joyful heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts of her family and friends. The love she shared will forever be cherished.
A celebration of life will be held 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in Diane's honor.
