Drew Steven Thompson left us on Saturday, October 24 th , 2020.
Drew was a loving father and husband, a protective brother, and a loyal friend. He loved boating, fishing, adventures, road trips with his wife, and spending time with his two beautiful daughters whom he absolutely adored. Drew was the kind of person who’d give anyone the shirt off his back, and gladly change their oil without hesitation. He lived his life with compassion and humor and you never knew if his jokes were going to make you blush or laugh, but they’d always make you smile. His personality was magnetic and he was roguishly charming. That was Drew. He will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know and love him.
Drew is preceded in death by his brother, Roger; mother, Darla, and grandparents, Peter and Virginia Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Leiann and their two daughters, Natalie (5) and Elin (3); father, John Thompson; brothers, Patrick (Elizabeth), Eric Throndsen (Nicki) and Neil Throndsen (Annie); sister, Kate (Matt); grandparents, Sonja and Jim Flynn, and many aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of Drew’s life will be held Thursday, October 29 th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Kok Funeral Home, Cottage Grove.
