Evan Daniel Jorgenson

Evan Daniel Jorgenson, age 26, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, passed away tragically on April 23, 2026. 

Evan is preceded in death by his grandma Mary Jorgenson, his grandparents Dan and Judy Bishop, and uncle Dave Bishop. Evan is survived by his mother Bonnie DeKoster (John), father Daniel Jorgenson (Tiffani), sisters Rori, Quinn, Parker, Papa J (Kathi), aunt Jennie Jorgenson, uncle Brian Jorgenson, the love of his life Anna Novak and Owen Novak.

Evan grew up in Cottage Grove and graduated from Park High School in 2017. After high school he continued his education by obtaining a degree in welding. Later, Evan decided to go back to school for utilities. Once completing his coursework, he was employed with the City of Woodbury as a Utility Operator.

Evan enjoyed his career and he loved hanging out with family and “the boys.” His favorite hobbies were golf, motorcycles, airplanes, hunting, and Pine Hurst resort get aways. Evan was selfless, caring, fun loving, determined, thoughtful, and had a contagious personality.

Evan was loved by all who knew him and will be missed immensely.
