Fritz Miller, age 69, of North St. Paul, Minnesota passed away on January 11, 2026 surrounded by his family.
Fritz was born on December 28, 1956 to Kenneth and Barbara (Baker) Miller in Minneapolis, MN.
He grew up in Minneapolis and attended Washburn High School. After high school he enlisted in the Navy for two years. Fritz worked many jobs from dry cleaning, tux rental, auto repair, construction, hotel management, electrician, and activities and social service director for skilled nursing. These jobs were done so he could enjoy his true passion of music. He has played guitar since he was ten and was a member of over 20 bands. He worked so he could play.
In November 2016 Fritz met the love of his life, Christine Braun. They had to maneuver the new age way of dating - online. On their first date they discovered they were not even on the same dating site but that the websites shared profiles. This date was at Subway and lasted over 7 hours! On September 28th, 2018 Fritz and Christine were married.
Fritz enjoyed being a member of a large family with Chris' girls, who he loved like his own. He enjoyed being a grandfather and was excited about his newest (and only) great-grandchild.
Entertaining was Fritz's passion and he enjoyed playing for everyone. This includes the residents at Lilydale Senior Living in Memory Care. Fritz was also very strong in his faith and wanted to extend that love of the Lord to his family, especially his grandchildren.
Fritz is survived by his wife Christine Miller; mother Barbara Miller; siblings, brother Tom (Susanne) Miller and sister Cindy (Bob) Fledderman; and step-daughters, Kelly (Chad) Broz, Jill (George) Mulwee, Lisa (Rick) Rasmussen, Ali (Jordan) Rymer, Nicole (James) Robertson, and nephews, Ryan and Michael Miller; and grandchildren, Alex (Alise) Moyer, Lilly Moyer, Audrey, Laura, Grant Mulwee, Matthew Rychly, Lexi, Matthew, Drew Rasmussen, Jett, Jaxon, and Kenlie Rymer; great-grandson Nolan Moyer. He is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Miller.
