George M. Anderson, age 74, of Cottage Grove, formerly of South Maplewood, passed away on August 30, 2020.
George Michael Anderson was born May 28, 1946, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Robert and Ethel (Nast) Anderson. He graduated from Harding High School in 1964. He enjoyed spending time at the cabin, in Wisconsin with family and friends. He especially liked outdoor activities such as deer hunting, snowmobiling, fishing and golfing. George was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union, the 3M Ski Club and the men’s club at church. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Wild, Twins, Vikings and State High School Hockey Tournaments and enjoyed cheering them on. But most of all, George’s greatest accomplishments are his 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

George is survived by his children, Julienne Dinkel and Steven (Corrine) Anderson; 5 grandchildren, Blake, Jacob, Shayna, Brock and Tyler; brother, Jack (Joyce) Anderson; and sister, Donna (Ron) Sather.
