George Brier

George Brier, age 79, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
George was very proud of being a volunteer fireman and EMT. He loved the outdoors, was a jack of all trades, and always there to offer help. He was loved by many and will be missed very much.
George is survived by his wife, Ellie; children, Kristeen (Dave) Reimer, Randy, and Scott (Melissa); daughter-in-law, Lynda; grandsons, Josh, Zach, and Nick; siblings, Art (Diane), and Mary (Ross) Mason; sister-in-law, Annette; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew; parents, Arthur J. and Oma Mae Brier; siblings, Richard, Phyllis, Robert, Dorothy, and Donald; and brothers-in-law, Charles, and William.
Services are to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preffered to the Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society.
