Helen Marrier

Helen M. Marrier (Faust), 87, of Cottage Grove died Monday, November 21, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marietta Gjessing; and beloved husband of 63 years, Robert L. Marrier.

Helen was born in St. Peter, MN. She graduated from Harding High in 1953 and worked at the Northern Pacific Railway for 11 years as Secretary to the General Storekeeper. Later she was Office Manager for Zimmerman Realty for 23 years.

Helen is survived by four children, Mary Helen (Michael) Pallin, Margaret A. (Joe) Rudich, Thomas R. (Michele) Marrier, Betty Lou (Kevin) McMaster; and 11 grandchildren, Meggie (Zach) Petersen, Jocelyn Rudich, Emma Marrier, Andrew (Christy) Johnson, Rick (Sri) Rudich, Anna (Toby) Leppicello, Isabella (Oliver) Marrier, Robert Marrier, Dylan (Jenna) McMaster, Sam Johnson, and Aidan McMaster, and two great-grandchildren, James and Daisy, with one more on the way.

Helen was active in her church and played the organ for services for 67 years.  Her hobbies were reading, crocheting and visiting with family.

Funeral services at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, St. Paul Park, MN on Thursday, December 22 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorial preferred to St. Andrews.
