Our beloved mother departed into the Lord's hands on May 12, 2006.
She was born August 22, 1917 in Minneapolis the daughter of Hjalmar & Karen Berthusen. She graduated from central High School.
Helen is preceded in death by husband John H. Schroeder Jr. and sisters Elsie & Bernice.
She is survived by her children Marvin (Lucy), Karen (Joel) Compton, Joan (Dennis) Sachs, Kathy (Jerry) Waldo and Barbara (Steve) Leithauser. Grandma Helen leaves behind twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Grandma Helen's zest for life and her deep love and devotion to her family will be missed by all.
