Hugo Maaske

passed away Wednesday evening November 12, 2008 at his home.

Hugo was born October 16, 19 10 in North Branch Township , Isanti County to William & Marie (Brandes) Maaske. He was confirmed June 8, 19 24 in Weber, Minnesota . He attended school until the eighth grade and worked on his parents farm until 1947, when he passed the state electrical exam. He worked residential and commercial jobs until his retirement in 1974. He was united in marriage with Cecelia Libernia Dorow on September 6, 19 36 in Springfield , Minnesota . He will be remembered as a proud Member of Electrical Union Local 110.

Hugo was preceded in death by parents William & Marie Maaske; wife Cecelia in 1989.

He is survived by daughters Lucia Gebhartdt, Lois ( Kent ) Mortensen, Joyce (Roger) Dominguez, JoAnn (Martin) Arnold; sons Richard (Kathy), James (Aleta); 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral Service 11 AM Saturday 11/15 at NEWPORT LUTHERAN CHURCH , 900 15 ^th St. Newport . Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens . Memorials preferred.
