went to join the love of his life Janet after complications of a fall on Thanksgiving Day only three weeks after her death.

Jim was born December 23, 19 31 in St. Louis , Missouri the son of William & Ella Woodside. He served in the United States Air Force and Marines and was a veteran of the Korean War. Jim enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be remembered for his devotion to his wife. Jim enjoyed sports, the North Shore , and vacationing with family and friends. He retired from 3M as an atomic & chemical worker after nearly thirty years.

Jim is the beloved father of Jim (Cindy) of Middleton, WI, Jone (Hal) Tiffany of New Brighton, Jill (Jon) Spurgeon of Woodbury, grandfather of Jennifer, Melissa & Andrea Woodside, Sara & Eric Tiffany, Alysa Keane, Jim Wagner, Jenna Spurgeon; many nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister Delores Whorton.

Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday at COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1145 Summit , St. Paul Park with gathering time beginning at 10:00 AM . Memorials to Community UCC.
