Janet Woodside

age 76, of Paul Park died Thursday morning, November 5, 2009 at her home.

Janet was born April 6, 19 33 in St. Paul the daughter of Edythe & William Bringold. She was raised in St. Paul and graduated in 1951 from Johnson High School . On October 12, 19 55 she was united in marriage with James Woodside in Michigan . Jan attended Mounds Midway School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse in the operating room at Mounds Park Hospital for over 25 years. She loved quilting and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Jan enjoyed Ft. Myers Beach , the North Shore and the ocean and would often take three mile hikes. Jan chaired the So. Washington County CROP walk. She was active in her church and choir. Jan made many hats for babies born in HealthEast hospitals.

Jan was the loving wife for 54 years to Jim; Beloved mother of Jim (Cindy) of Middleton, WI, Jone (Hal) Tiffany of New Brighton, Jill (Jon) Spurgeon of Woodbury, grandmother of Jennifer, Melissa & Andrea Woodside, Sara & Eric Tiffany, Alysa Keane, Jim Wagner, Jenna Spurgeon; sister of William (Joy) Ringold of Apple Valley, Jone (Wayne) Dosser of Danbury, WI; sister-in-law of Nancy Ringold of Minnetonka; many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by brother Robert; parents Edythe & William Ringold. Memorial Service 11 AM Thursday at COMMUNITY UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST , 1145 Summit , St. Paul Park with gathering time beginning at 9:30 AM .
