Janice Fredette

Janice Fredette was born in St. Paul, MN, on January 15, 1939. She passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, following a short illness. Janice was a loving wife and mother who lived in Cottage Grove, MN for many years.

Janice loved working in her yard, planting flowers, and designing and planting Fairy gardens. Janice also loved to travel. She enjoyed many wonderful trips to Carmel-by-the-Sea and San Francisco, CA.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Fredette and son, Robert Fredette; siblings, Theodore (Kathryn) Plante, Susan Lau, Patricia (Richard) Sandusky; sister-in-law, Kathleen Plante; cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Robert; brother, James Plante; brother-in-law, John Lau; nephew, Chad Plante; daughter-in-law, Jackie Blanchard; and mother and father, Fern and Edmund Plante.

Memorial Service at 11 am with visitation at 10 am, Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016.

Interment on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Resurrection Cemetery, 2101 Lexington Ave S, Mendota Heights, MN 55102. Next to the chapel at 10:30 am.
