Jesse Briseno Martinez

Jesse Martinez, age 70, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Jesse was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Anselmo and Agapita Martinez. Jesse graduated from Monroe High School and married Socorro Martinez. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage. He was part of the Steel Workers Union of America for over 40 years. Jesse was hard working, loving, and dedicated to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Socorro Martinez; children, Maria Cristina, Jesse Jr., Felipa (Carmelo), and Alicia (Vincent); grandchildren, Roberto, Christian, Jesse, Maria, Alyssa, Jesse III, Sofia, and Santiago; niece and nephew, Diana and Anastacio; and many extended family.

A visitation will be held 12 - 2 PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S, Cottage Grove, Minnesota, 55016. Light refreshments will be available.
