JoAnn Engler

JoAnn Engler passed away on November 22, 2025 at her home in White Bear Lake, MN. JoAnn was born June 18, 1941 in Reading, MN to Tennius and Martha (Guse) Rabenberg. She attended grade school in Rushmore, MN and graduated Worthington High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, Reginald Engler, on December 26, 1960 and honeymooned on the way to Waco, TX where Reginald was stationed in the Air Force. In 1961, they moved to Worthington, MN and became employed at Campbell Soup. They moved to St. Paul, MN in 1967 and to St. Paul Park, MN in 1970. JoAnn stayed at home with children while reupholstering furniture as a form of employment. Later, she became employed at Garelick Manufacturing in St. Paul Park, where she retired in 2002. 

JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband, Reg; son, Adam; brother, Harold; and her parents. She is survived by children, Jeff (Barbara) Engler of White Bear Lake, MN, Wanda (Craig) Lattery of Star Prairie, WI, and Herman (Becca) Engler of Chickasaw, AL; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. 

Visitation 4-7 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM with visitation beginning at 9 AM, Friday, December 5, 2025 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN 55071. Burial immediately following the mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Cemetery, St. Paul Park, MN.
