John Hoge

at the age of 68

after a rich and full life

John was born May 25, 19 41 in St. Paul to Bernard & Florence Heller Hoge. He graduted from Harding High School in 1959. On April 14, 19 62 he was united in marriage with Mary Helen Murphy at Holy Childhood Catholic Church. Jack served in the United States Army. He was a member of PVA and the MS Society. Jack enjoyed traveling especially to Hawaii , going out to eat, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. He and Mary lived in Cottage Grove for 45 years. Jack lived 45 years with multiple sclerosis.

He is survived by his loving wife & caregiver of 48 years Mary; children Molly (Marv) Henderson , Kim (Steve) Winter, Holly ( Gary ) Koehnen, Richard (Lisa), Jay; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Carol Nadon. Preceded in death by parents. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday (5/20) at ST. RITA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH , 8694 80 ^TH St. Cottage Grove . Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery . Visitation 4-8 PM with a 7 PM prayer service Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 Thursday at church.
