John Anthony Spencer

John Spencer, age 96, of St. Paul, MN. Passed away after a brief illness on Thursday December 8, 2022 with family by his side.

Preceded in death by wife Marilyn; and daughter-in-law, Carolyn.  Survived by sons, Alan (Alicia), Michael (Carolyn), Greg (Claudia), Jeff (Phia), Joe (Gina), and Jon (Connie); daughter, Jan Tacheny; twenty grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

John was born December 17, 1925 in Pasco, Washington to Dominic and Cathryn Ruggiero. John was a US Navy veteran of WWII serving on the destroyer USS Uhlmann.

He will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
