John Wroblewski

John Wroblewski, age 63 of St. Cloud formerly of Cottage Grove, died unexpectedly at his home on February 13, 2026.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday, February 19, 2026 at The Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.

John Victor Wroblewski was born March 16, 1962 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Victor and Mary Wroblewski. He grew up in Cottage Grove and graduated from Park High School in 1980. John proudly served his country in the US Navy and was stationed at various places throughout the world including Sicily, parts of South America and Florida. While in the military he was trained as an aircraft mechanic, which was a job that he really enjoyed.

John liked to be independent and found that his happy place was spending time out doors, weight lifting, fishing and spending time with his dogs.

He is survived by his sisters Lisa Wroblewski and Leann Wroblewski; brother-in-law David Nelson; nephews Zachary and David as well as other extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Mary and siblings Lori Nelson and Joe and Jim Wroblewski.
