Jose "Lito" Manalo Jr.

With deep love and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jose "Lito" Manalo, Jr., who departed peacefully on October 5, 2025, in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, at the age of 87.

Born on September 23, 1938, in Silang, Cavite, Philippines, Lito lived a life rooted in dedication, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. He was a lifelong sports enthusiast, with a special passion for basketball, tennis, and golf - reflecting his competitive spirit and active nature.

Lito is survived by his devoted wife, Maria “Pench”; his sons, Jomar (Jane) and Jeffrey (Ruby); and his beloved grandchildren: Kareena, Ariana, Jerico, Kimi, and Kevin. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Edna, along with extended family and dear friends across the Philippines and the United States. In eternal rest, he reunites with his siblings Angelina, Jesus, and Fely.

A visitation will be begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, with lunch to follow. Services will take place at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N., Oakdale, MN 55128

Lito’s warmth, humility, and steadfast love for his family leave a lasting legacy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
