Jose Carlos Paray

Jose "Joe" Carlos Paray, 82, of Cottage Grove Minnesota, passed away at home on June 13, 2026.

Joe was born on December 30, 1943 in the Philippines, to Buenaventura and Tomasa Paray and grew up with 9 cherished siblings. He dedicated 37 years to U.S. Bank in the accounting industry, where he earned the respect of colleagues and made lifelong friends. Above all, he took pride in being a husband, dad and Lolo.

Joe enjoyed golfing, watching any sporting event, spending time with his family and traveling with his wife. Their many travels took them around the world to the Philippines, Australia, China, Egypt, Switzerland, Italy, France and many more destinations.

Joe is survived by his wife and dancing partner of 47 years, Bel; his children Joni (Nick) and Anthony; his grandchildren Olivia and Lincoln; the Paray and Yasis siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita’s Catholic Church - 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN - on Tuesday, June 30, at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service.

A private interment with family will take place later that day.
