Age 74, of Fort Myers, FL
Former resident of Cottage Grove, MN
Passed away peacefully on October 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Grace Ernst; son, John Jr.; grandchildren, Adam and Elizabeth Vance. Survived by loving husband of 56 years, John; son, Joseph (Paula), and daughter, Debra (Kevin) Vance; grandchildren, Brooke (Tyler), Abby (Anthony) Germain, Tyler, and Emily; four great grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Speake; and brothers, Richard, and Daniel (Carol) Ernst; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She enjoyed spending time on the beach collecting shells and rocks, as well as watching the moon.
Funeral Service 6 PM, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ, 7008 Lamar Ave. S., Cottage Grove with visitation beginning at 4 PM.
Memorials preferred.
