Kathleen Ann Linaman

Kathleen "Kathy" Linaman (Gillespie) passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 79.

Kathy was born on January 20, 1947, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Simley High School in 1965. She married Lloyd on August 26, 1967, and from that day forward relocated overseas to Germany and across multiple states to support her Army spouse. Kathy embraced each move with grace, resilience, and an open heart.

Kathy worked in government civil service for many years and in 1996 relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado, due to a civil service job transfer.

Kathy enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling, camping, crocheting, bingo, and spending time with family.

Kathy is survived by her husband Lloyd; children Angenette Linaman and Todd Linaman; granddaughter Brittany Waters; great-granddaughter Veronica Ikener; siblings Jack (Karen) Gillespie, Pat Nolan, and Mary (Gregg) Temple and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by parents John and Irene Gillespie and brother Timothy Gillespie.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S.; Cottage Grove, MN with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery 7601 34th Ave.; Minneapolis, MN at 1:30 PM - ARRIVE BY 1:15 PM Assembly Area #5.
