Linda Redalen Carlson

Linda Redalen Carlson, age 78, of Lake Elmo, formerly of Cottage Grove, passed away on October 20th, surrounded by family, after a prolonged fight with liver cancer.

Linda had a life-long passion with gardening, baking, stamping, making cards, and enjoyed sharing her love of her hobbies with her family and friends. She spent over 30 years working at law firms Dorsey & Whitney and Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly. She spent her time as a Sunday School superintendent at United Church of Christ, coordinating productions for Christmas and Easter services before working with kids at Celebrate Recovery at Journey North Church in Pine City after retiring.

Linda was preceded in death by parents, Tracy and Gerda, and her husband Al. She is survived by her sons, Adam of Cottage Grove and Aaron (Angela) of Woodbury with grandchild Micaiah; sister Susan (Steve) Amundson of Hastings, nephews Korey (Amanda) and Thad Amundson, niece Tanya (John) Slavsky, and grand-niece and nephews, Sophia, Grant, Chase and Jax.

A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Church in Cottage Grove on Thursday, November 5th at 11am with visitation starting at 9:30am. Memorials are preferred to the Director's Research Fund "Masonic Cancer Center" University of Minnesota.
