Lois Arlayne Ritter

Lois Arlayne Ritter, age 87, of Cottage Grove, MN passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. 

Lois we will miss you immensely.

Her life showed us all that even through the most difficult of times there is always beauty, strength, kindness, love and laughter. If you knew Lois, you most certainly knew laughter. Always happy, smiling and wanting the same for everyone around her.

To list her family would take an eternity. Everyone was family. There was rarely a visit to anywhere when a random talk with someone didn’t produce a mutual connection or a relative she never knew about. Her North Dakota roots brought her so much joy and the stories she had from growing up on the family farm were endless. Well, all her stories from every phase of her life were endless. Her gift of gab is something she was known for. Her love of making cards was a passion that brought her so many beautiful friends and if you ever received one from her, it was a keepsake to treasure.

The open arms of loved ones who have gone before her must have surely been a sight to see on Sunday evening. Lois you were loved beyond loved by so many. We are blessed beyond blessed to have been a part of your life and have a place in your heart.

We cannot express enough gratitude to all who have been down this road with us. 

A Celebration of her wonderful life will be Wednesday, September 4th (her birthday) Open House 1:00-5:00 PM at River Oaks Golf Course, 11099 US-61, Cottage Grove, MN 55016.
