Louis Curtis

Louis Richard Curtis, age 98, died peacefully on December 5, 2023.

Louis was born on August 30, 1925, in Minneapolis. He and his wife Marion raised their family in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Louis proudly served in the US Navy for both WWII and the Korean conflict.

Louis is preceded in death by his wife Marion (Carroll) Curtis, his parents Waldo and Edna Curtis, his three sisters Ruth (Ralph) Rangle, Bettie (Emil) Perez, Nancy (Russ) Ebert, his son-in-law Jay Lafin and grandson Christopher Swanson.

Louis was survived by his four children: Rog (Sui) Curtis, Jim (Mary) Curtis, Kari (Dick) Swanson and Sherri Lafin, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Louis requested no formal services to be held but ask that you remember him as a humble and kind person who will be deeply missed.
