Louis Kavaloski

age 89, died Thursday morning July 10, 2008 at the Linden Golden Living Center in Stillwater .

Louis was born October 27, 19 18 in Saaint Paul , Minnesota the son of Antoni & Eva (Weidenska) Kavaloski. He was raised in Stanley , Wisconsin . On July 29, 19 39 he was united in marriage to Dorothy Voss in Saint Paul . Louie loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, wildlife, storytelling and practical jokes. He was a self-taught accordion and harmonica player. Louie loved the North Shore . He will be remembered as the caretaker of his family.

Louie was preceded in death by his son Edward and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Dorothy; daughters Mary Ann (Terry) Bondeson, Cindy (Vic) Anderson, Shirley Thurston; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

As a teenager Louie started working at Swift & Co. and worked there many years until they closed. He worked at Macalester College until he retired. Then he worked at Turfco. Louie loved to camp & fish and make sure everyone was fed.
