Grandpa & Great-Grandpa
Age 78, of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 21, 2006. Preceded in death by siblings Rolan, Milton, and Esthermarie. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Millie; children Gerard Schmit, Joseph (Patty) Schmit, Dan (Deanne) Schmit, Michelle (Steve) Borowicz, Mary (Mike) Langevin, Ann (Bob) Meehl; grandchildren Joey, Miranda, John, Brendan, Maria, Jesse, Kaylee, Matthew, Casey, Jennifer, Jacob; great-granddaughter Makenna. Also survived by many other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, April 24, 2006 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Kok Funeral Home in Cottage Grove and also one hour prior to service at church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church located at 920 Holley Avenue, Saint Paul Park, MN. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
