Margaret Bestul

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Bestul of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, who passed away on July 30th, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Bestul to pay them a last tribute.

She was preceded in death by husband of 44 years, Curtis Bestul; son, Michael Bestul; parents, Lester & Clara (nee Lindblad) Lundeen; siblings, Harris Lundeen, George Lundeen, Rodney Lundeen, Janet Halvorson, and Donna Lundeen.

She is survived by sons, Mark (Kathy) Bestul and Kevin (Cris) Bestul; daughter, Kathy (Jason) Heller; grandchildren, Meghan (Mitchell) Vesel, Michael Braun, Nathan (Bethany) Bestul, Andrea (Laine) White, Jennifer (Jeff) Webster, Aimee (Adam) Buchholz, Justin (Josh) Robida, Jackson Heller, and Brady Heller; ten great grandchildren; sister, Linda Lundeen; and many other loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kok Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7676 80th St S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. A funeral service at 11:00 AM and luncheon to follow at the same location. A burial service will be held following the luncheon at the Newport Cemetery, 220 Hastings Ave., Newport, MN 55055.
