Margaret Thorpe

Margaret Thorpe, age 55, of Woodbury, passed away unexpectedly February 28, 2010 .

Maggie was born November 7, 19 54 in St. Paul , MN the daughter of Angelo Tuccitto and Aurora (Aquire) Toccitto. She grew up in Maplewood , MN and attended school at Tartan High School , graduating with her high school sweetheart, David Thorpe, in 1973.

On June 1 ^st , 1974, Maggie and David were married at the First Covenant Church in St. Paul . They settled in the Woodbury area in 1976 and have been there since that time.

Maggie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, making cards, stamps, needlepoint, cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Maggie was the kind of person who “made ripples.” She had an infectious smile and a knack for giving hugs. Her home was always open to those in need of support and advice. Maggie was very strong in her faith, something she cared deeply about. “God only takes the best.” She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
