Marianne K. Person, age 89, of Oakdale, formerly of Newport & Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025.
Preceded in death by husband, Ronald; and three siblings. Survived by daughters, Renee Faulkner, Ranell (Erik) Kirsch, and Robin (John) Kennedy; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends. Marianne's beliefs in God were very important to her.
Memorial Service 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Rose of Sharon Lutheran Church, 6875 Jamaica Ave. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Final resting place will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor's choice.
