Marie Grudle

age 91, of Cottage Grove on January 24, 2009 .

Marie Catherine was born November 8, 19 17 in Glenwood , Iowa . She was one of ten children born to Michael J. & Elizabeth F. (Keimig) Konz. On January 15, 19 41 she was united in marriage to Everett John Grudle in St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Council Bluffs , Iowa . The family farmed many years in Sidney , Iowa . Marie loved to garden and enjoyed flowers.

She is survived by her husband Everett; daughter Sharon (David) Archer; four grandchildren Sheila Dabiri, David (Alison) Archer, Trina (David) Blume, Angela K. Archer; nine great-grandchildren; sister Irene; brothers John & Ervin; many nieces & nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by her granddaughter Susan Archer; sisters and brothers Rose, Violenta, Michael, Joseph, Raymond, and Madonna.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday at ST. RITA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH , 8694 80 ^TH St. S. Cottage Grove . Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery . Visitation 10-11 AM Tuesday at church.
